Thank goodness for assigned parking

It's times like this where I'm glad I have assigned parking. Ever since I moved to the Big City I was thinking I'd just park on the streets. It's challenging enough when it's dry outside---it's absolutely hazardous with the streets wet. I live in a hilly part of the neighborhood and we've been getting pelted with a high amount of rain. If I park on the street I think the chances of me getting hit by runaway cars or drivers that lose control during tight turns is pretty high...
